After a month of internet exile, there was finally hope —

I skipped class just to stay home for the broadband installation.
At 1:30 p.m., two middle-aged guys knocked on the door.
Then came a whole session of fiddling and rewiring.
One of them said there were no spare ports in the hallway —
they’d need to apply for a new connector.
What followed were countless “Sorry, sorry…”
But what could I do?
Had some time left, so I went to the ward office.
Sat there for an hour to pick up my new [My Number card].
Then, off to Tsurumi Ryokuchi —former Expo garden site.
The flowers were stunning.
Felt a bit unreal.
I wanted to know what they all were,
but there was no one to ask.
Took a bunch of photos. Felt right. Wrapped it up.

On the elevator ride home,an old lady going out greeted me.

And that felt nice,at least the word “alive” still meant something.
